Festivals means fun, love and enjoyment, but once the festival is over you realize how exhausted you are, your body demands proper rest and pampering, so now the time for post-festive pampering. Essential oils are something that can not only pamper our skin, but our hair, mental wellbeing and helps with wounds too.
I chose Vayu organics lavender and tea tree oil.
Let’s talk about the Lavender essential oil first (My personal favorite):
It Fights Acne
Naturally, lavender oil is antibacterial, which means it destroys acne-causing bacteria that could invade your pores. This makes the purple flower ideal for avoiding painful acne breakouts, relaxing, and curing them.
In order to compensate, dry skin can start to overproduce sebum (the natural oil of your skin), leading to clogged pores and acne formation. Lavender oil softly hydrates the skin and for pores, is non-comedogenic.
Relax your body muscles
Take shower with lukewarm water with few drops of lavender oil in it. It doesn’t only relaxes your skin, muscles but also makes you feel calmer..
Soothes Eczema and conditions of dry skin
Switch to lavender oil for some much-needed relief if you’ve been itching away at dry skin patches with little hope in sight. Lavender oil does a fantastic job of balancing the moisture barrier of your skin, as already described so that it is not too oily or too dry. Mix the coconut oil with lavender oil and add to the extra dry areas.
It can help with Good Night Sleep:
It is known that lavender oil soothes the mind, thereby enhances the quality of sleep. It may also aid in the treatment of sleep disorders and help the mind remain calm.
Lavender can also help reduce anxiety levels, in addition to improving sleep quality. It has been shown that inhalation of lavender essential oil daily for 15 days reduces levels of anxiety. One research found that the use of lavender oil fragrance effectively decreased the state of anxiety of patients at a dental reception. When feeling nervous or stressed during the day, pop some oils into your pocket and take a sniff.
Time to talk about the benefits of tea tree oil now (Gear Up!!) :
There are anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties in tea tree oil that help minimize acne and soothe irritated skin. It is non-comedogenic, too which means that the pores are unlikely to clog and cause additional problems.
Prevents skin infections:
Tea tree oil’s anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties make it a useful treatment for treating skin disorders such as the athlete’s foot and ringworm.
It also relieves the skin from any side effects caused by these conditions, such as dryness and itchy skin.
In a moisturiser, simply mix a few drops of tea tree oil and apply it.
Treats nail fungus
There is some evidence that tea tree oil’s topical use helps to get rid of nail fungus. The study participants were charged with applying the oil twice daily for six months, and researchers found that “improvement in nail appearance and symptomatology.” was provided by the topical therapy.
Tea tree oil reduces hair fall
Tea tree essential helps to encourage good sturdy hair. Tea tree oil can prevent or treat hair loss. Just add a few drops of coconut, olive or jojoba to the carrier oil and apply it to your scalp.
