I absolutely Loveeee hot chocolate.
When I decided to go on the Keto diet, I was quite worried if I’ll be allowed to drink hot chocolate anymore, because we can neither have sugar, nor dairy milk on this diet.
After researching a lot on Google, I found we can use cream in place of sugar, just like we used in our Keto cappuccino.
Here is how you can make tempting keto hot chocolate for your sweet tooth.
Dark chocolate (Minimum 75% dark)
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Keto Sugar/ Stevia
Step 1: In a double boiler, put one spoon of unsalted butter, and 4-6 cubes of dark chocolate and melt them together.
Step 2: After your mixture of melted chocolate and butter is ready, add 2 spoons cocoa powder and half spoon stevia to it, and mix it well. There should not be any lumps left.
Step 3: Add 1/3 cup water to the prepared mixture. mix it well, and keep it aside.
Step 4. In a pan, add 2/3 cup fresh cream and bring it to boil.
Step 5: Add the prepared chocolate mixture to the cream, and let it boil on a medium flame for one minute.
Your hot chocolate is ready!!
(Optional: Add whipped cream to your hot chocolate to garnish it.)
